HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I invited the kids to come dressed up if they wanted to storytime as it is Halloween today.  We had a few takers.  They looked cute in their costumes.

As it is Halloween, we read Halloween stories today:
THE MONSTERS' MONSTER by Patrick McDonnell (cute book!)
JUST SAY BOO! by Susan Hood and
THE LITTLE OLD LADY WHO WAS NOT AFRAID OF ANYTHING by Linda Williams (this one I did with stick puppets)

 

 

We did the Skeleton Dance and If you're a Monster and you know it for songs today.

 

Craft:  I gave them bags and stickers to decorate and then they went trick or treating in the library.
